Drunk Driver going to Jail for Almost 5 Years 

A man from Vassalboro is going to prison for one day shy of five years after he was sentenced for pleading guilty to his eighth drunken driving offense.The charges against 40-year old Richard Desrosier stemmed from an incident with the state police in April.Desrosier was stopped for speeding and then ran from police into the woods.When he was caught he had a blood alcohol level more than twice the legal limit.Desrosier started his sentence today and will be held for four years 364 days, and then have three years probation when he is released.
