A teen involved in a February fire that leveled a farmhouse in Manchester will spend a year in jail.19-year-old Christopher Minor of Winthrop pled guilty to criminal mischief and failure to report a dangerous fire. He was charged with arson but a deal was struck to let him plead to lesser crimes. District attorney Evert Fowle says Minor accepted responsibility for his role in the fire. The home’s owner said while he wanted Minor held accountable, he didn’t want Minor’s life ruined. Minor has paid back 13-thousand dollars, his share of the restitution. Charges on six other people involved in the incident are still pending. No one lived in the house at the time of the fire.
