About $75,000 worth of marijuana was found at a house in Monmouth during a drug bust today, that’s according to the Kennebec County Sheriff’s office.The Sheriff’s office worked with Monmouth Police and Maine Drug Enforcement Agents. When officials searched the Bonin Road home of Robert Bailey and Timothy Lemaire, they say they found an indoor marijuana growing operation. Officials say they seized about 180 plants, half a pound of processed marijuana, and about $20,000 worth of growing equipment. Bailey and Lemaire were both arrested for marijuana cultivation. They are being held at Kennebec County Jail on $15,000 cash bail or $150,000 surety.Bailey has a prior conviction related to marijuana cultivation that dates back to 2006.
