John Bapst Girls Go for 9th Straight PVC Track Title

Yesterday the bangor rams won both the boys and girls championships of the PVC Large School track meet at MDI. It’s the sixth straight title for the girls and the fifth in six years for the boys. Today at Foxcroft Academy, the PVC Small School championships.A nice day in Dover-Foxcroft as the small schools showing their stuff.In the boys shot put, Bucksport’s Casey Wardell with a throw of 35’7″. Orono’s Nick Peterson won with a throw of 44’7″.In the boys pole vault, Orono’s Tyler Higgins, gets over nine feet. He would jump off with his teammate Kody Spackley with Spackley taking the top leap at nine three.In the girls 4×800, John Bapst, the old boss same as the new boss. The Crusaders win again. This year a time of 10:34:35. The John Bapst Girls win the PVC for the 9th straight year. Orono took the title in the Boys meet.
