Lemforder Warehouse Sold in Brewer 

Brewer city officials say they’ve sold a warehouse that used to be part of ZF Lemforder.Last year, the auto supplier announced it was closing its local manufacturing operations. Brewer’s economic development director says on Monday, the city sold its 60-thousand square foot warehouse on the property to Bill Varney, of the Varney Insurance Agency.We’re told Varney plans to lease it out to various companies and talks are already in the works. The building includes research and testing labs and office space.City officials say they’re still searching for a buyer for the main Lemforder building, a 120-thousand square foot industrial plant which they say Lemforder is motivated to sell.
