An accident at the intersection of Rt. 202 and Rt. 9 in Hampden knocked out some services around 4:00 p.m. Monday.Officials say a dump truck driver forgot to put the back of the truck down.That part of the truck got caught up in some cables, knocking out power to some folks for about 15 seconds. Traffic lights in that area were without power for bit, forcing police to direct traffic. Power to the lights was restored just after 5:00 p.m.A Bangor Hydro crew was there checking out the pole to make sure there was no damage.Officials say telephone and internet service in the area may have been affected. There is no word on how many people were involved in that outage.
