Massachusetts Couple Offers Reward For Dog Last Seen In Brewer

A Massachussetts couple has been frantically searching for their missing, five pound, Yorkshire Terrier that ran away in Brewer more than two weeks ago. Now they’re offering a reward for the dogs safe return. Norma Brettell and her husband Wally Luikey were visiting family on Mother’s Day weekend when their dog Lulu ran off without a trace. The couple has taken time off of work to come back to Brewer and search for Lulu who they say is an integral part of their family. They’ve put up hundreds of posters around the area but they still haven’t found Lulu. Lulu now has a Facebook page, “Finding Lulu. More than 60 people have been following the search on the social networking site. There has been one sighting of her here on the day road where she was last seen. “We found out later, a couple weeks later, that someone had seen her running down the road here on Day road,” says Brettell, “the people who saw her were driving in a car on the day road and stopped to try to coax her her to go with them because they recognized she was a little dog and probably shouldn’t be out by herself.” That’s the last known sighting of Lulu but it’s not for a lack of effort on the part of the folks around here. Lulu’s owners say hundreds of people have helped in one way or another. “We met another fellow just this morning at the restaurant who told us he’s been looking for her for two weeks unbenknownst to us,” says Luikey, “I just can’t speak highly enough for the people that live in this area. They’re just absolutely wonderful they’ll have a place in my heart forever. I’ll never forget them.”If you spot Lulu you can call either: 282-5561 OR 617-875-6613
