Plea Hearing for Man Accused of Murdering Old Town Woman 

The man accused of playing a role in the murder of an Old Town woman along the Bangor waterfront last August plead guilty Friday, but to a lesser charge.28-year-old Justin Ptaszynski was originally charged with murder and hindering apprehension in the death of 19 year old Holly Boutilier. Ptaszynski had pleaded not guilty back in October.In a plea hearing in Kennebec County Superior court, Ptasynski admitted to a lesser charge of hindering apprehension.Both the state and Ptaszynski’s defense attorney, Jeffrey Silverstein have agreed to a six year prison sentence. State prosecutor Andrew Benson told the court that there was no evidence that Ptaszynski was an active participant in terms of having assisted causing the death of Holly Boutilier.34-year-old Colin Koehler is charged with Boutilier’s murder.A court document states Ptaszynski said the three of them went for a walk along the river when Koehler pulled out a sword.Boutilier was stabbed to death.Ptaszynski told police he didn’t know that Koehler planned to kill her.
