Two Arrested in Bucksport High School Vandalism 

Two teenagers are facing charges in connection with vandalism done to school property at Bucksport High School.Police have charged 18-year-old Matthew Bamford of Bucksport and 18-year-old Benjamin Harvey of Hampden with criminal mischief and aggravated criminal mischief.Bucksport Police Chief Sean Gagnon says a wall of a dug out had been kicked in and some bases had been stolen.Gagnon says there was also some damage to the track team’s equipment.He says the arrest of the two suspects was a community effort.” A lot of disturbed students in which we talked to at the high school that take a lot of pride in what they do and their softball field and track equipment. The track teams and softball teams were very irritated with it. We talked with a lot of them and they did a great job on getting us information that would lead us to charge the two males.”Ramford and Harvey are scheduled to appear in Hancock County Superior Court in July.
