Folks in Clifton will be talking wind tonight and what a proposed wind farm might mean for their community. A developer in Bangor wants to put at least three turbines on land he owns on Pisgah Mountain. But some residents are concerned, based on complaints they’ve heard from other towns. One of the biggest questions is how much noise the turbines would produce. That’ll be the topic of discussion at a hearing this evening at the Clifton town office. Supporters and opponents will have a chance to speak. The meeting gets started at 7 p.m. The town is set to vote on an ordinance regarding wind power projects on June 8th.
