Canaan Neighborhood Watch

Folks in Canaan hope to cut down on crime with more community involvement. The town has recently formed a neighborhood watch group.A rash of recent burglaries prompted that move. The group meets at the town office at 6pm every third Wednesday of the month.Town treasurer Betsy Holt says neighborhood watch road signs are selling for twenty dollars. “Everybody is welcome. We hope we can get more participants,” Said Holt. “We’d love to draw from each area of town, not just the center or town, not just the north part of town, but everywhere.”
