Two Rescued From Lake in Union 

Two people who fell into the chilly waters of Sennebec Lake in Union, are safe thanks to the extraordinary efforts of law enforcement agencies.The call for help came in at around 5 Tuesday evening from a person on shore who heard the two victims yelling for help after their sailboat capsized.A number of agencies were called in to help in the rescue, including fire fighters from Union and Appleton.We’re told a State Police trooper found a canoe and rowed out, while a Knox County Sheriff’s deputy used his own boat to help.The two people were “cold and wet” but otherwise okay, according to local officials.
