Today was the one-hundred-and-eleventh Commencement at the Husson University. A total of 590 degrees will be given to 530 students. The University awarded 330 undergraduate degrees today, 125 master’s degrees and 2 honorary doctorates on the Husson campus. Here students from 150 Maine towns, 15 states and 8 countries, earned associates, bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Husson’s schools of business, education, health, and science and humanities. Senior Class President Maurice Thayer from Scarborough delivered the class address. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. At the second commencement ceremony in Portland on Saturday, May 22nd, 70 undergraduates and 12 graduate students will be awarded degrees.
