Flags to Half Sunday for Fallen Maine Soldier 

Funeral services for a Waterville soldier who was killed in Afghanistan, will take place on Sunday.21-year old Wade Slack passed away Thursday.His remains will be back in Maine sometime Friday.A funeral will take place on Sunday at the Blessed Hope Church in Waterville.Slack will then be buried next Tuesday at the Lewis Cemetary in Oakland.Slack graduated from Waterville High School in 20-07, and joined the army soon after. Governor Baldacci has ordered flags to be lowered to half staff on the day of Army Specialist Slack’s funeral.
