Emergency Outage in Thomaston 

Central Maine Power Company is disrupting power at 2 p.m. today to an estimated 5,400 customers in Thomaston, South Thomaston, Cushing, Friendship, St. George, and Warren. CMP expects the work will take about an hour while they perform emergency repairs.“We have discovered a problem on a transmission line that serves these communities, and need to disrupt power so we can fix it efficiently and safely,” said CMP spokesperson Gail Rice. “We appreciate our customers’ understanding and patience as our crews work on these emergency repairs.”CMP expects to restore service by 3 p.m.
