Two Jailed in Alleged Lubec Robbery 

A Lubec couple is behind bars after a robbery in Lubec Saturday night that ended with a standoff Sunday afternoon.State police say they received a call from a Lubec resident Sunday morning.The man reported someone had broken into his Maple Tree Road residence Saturday night, and robbed him at gunpoint.The homeowner said $1,500 in cash was stolen as well as some prescription drugs.He identified 27-year old Nathaniel Myers as the man who committed the robbery.When police went to Myer’s house Sunday afternoon, they say he refused to come out.State Police Sgt. Chris Coleman says because a gun had reportedly been used in the crime, the tactical team was called in.He says moments later, Myers and 27-year old Jennifer Folson surrendered.Police say both admitted to the crime, but claim no gun was involved, the homeowner was sleeping at the time, and it was less money than the victim reported.Authorities say they did find a fake bb gun that matched the description from the homeowner.Both Myers and Folson remain behind bars at the Washington County Jail on $5,000 cash bail each.
