Montville Man Accused of Pushing Woman Out of a Moving Car 

A man from Montville is accused of beating up a woman and pushing her out of a moving car.46-year-old Brian Rafuse is charged with domestic violence, assault and terrorizing. Waldo County Deputies arrested him Saturday morning after a woman called police and told them she was riding with Rafuse on Route 3 in Montville. She said the two had been in an argument the night before and Rafuse was driving her home to Rockland. But on the way, she says, he hit her in the face, threatened to shoot her and pushed her out of the car while it was going about 30 miles per hour. The woman was treated at a hospital for back injuries. Rafuse was taken to the Waldo County Jail where he made bail. He’s due in court in June.
