Tea Party Protestors in Bangor 

Tea party protesters made their presence known in Bangor and Augusta Thursday.They gathered across from the federal building in Bangor, then moved down the interstate to a rally at Augusta’s capital park.The crowd contained a lot of folks with a lot of different complaints about the direction the government has headed in.The issues driving the protestors include health care, states rights and the inflated national debt.In a symbolic gesture, the group marched to the state street bridge and dumped tea from one bag into the Kenduskeag stream.
