Children Meet Local Firefighters 

The Brewer and Bangor Fire Stations opened their doors to children Tuesday.It was an opportunity for the kids to learn fire safety and meet local firefighters.Organizers of the event say in case of emergency, it’s important for kids to know firefighters are there to help and to not be afraid of them.One boy from Hampden is taking a lot away from his experience at the fire house.” What you do is when your house is on fire Stop, Drop and Roll.”” Well that he’ll be careful at home and not touch what he’s not suppose to touch and matches and plugs and outlets and things like that.
