Crash in Ripley Sends One to Hospital 

Police say an accident in Ripley has sent one person to the hospital. It happened on the West Ripley Road on Sunday. Officials say a car was traveling from Cambridge to Ripley when the driver lost control and the vehicle rolled over, officials say, at least 2 times.Police believe that speed may have been a factor in the crash.The driver was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. Matt Connor, the Assistant Fire Chief in Dexter says it took the jaws of life to get the driver out. “We had to cut off about 6 posts of the car an peel off the roof to get to the patient,” Conner told TV5 on Sunday.There has been no word yet on the status of the driver of the vehicle.The accident is still under investigation.
