Newburgh Accident 

There was an accident involving four vehicles in Newburgh Friday night.The call came in just before 5 pm.Sergeant Scott Young with the Penobscot Sheriff’s Department says they responded to the intersection of Route Nine and 69 in Newburgh.Young says the driver of a Dodge Intrepid took a left-hand turn and cut in front of a GMC Envoy, causing them to collide.Which also caused them to collide into two more vehicles stopped at a stop sign.Young says the driver and the two passengers in the Envoy were taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center for shoulder and neck pain.He says the driver of the Intrepid was treated for some cuts from the seat belt.No one was cited in the accident.
