Kids at the Sedomocha Middle School in Dover-Foxcroft had the chance today to learn a new skill. Representatives from the King Arthur Flour Company taught them how to bake their own loaves of bread. One loaf to share with the family and one loaf to share with the community. 340 fourth through seventh-graders were taught how to bake bread to share. The bags the kids will be transporting the loaves in were donated by a local Hannaford, and all the ingredients for the bread were donated by King Arthur Flour. The flour company has been traveling across the country and has taught more then 100 thousand schoolchildren how to bake bread over the last decade. The kids say they look forward to sharing the bread with their family, and the community.
