The Little Engine That Could teaches a lesson about believing in yourself, and kindergarten students at Glenburn Elementary School passed on this message to their peers by performing their own version of the children’s classic. 14 students from Mrs. Rees’s kindergarten class are performed “The Little Train,” a musical play based on “The Little Engine that Could,” for more than 400 of their peers. The story follows a train as it attempts to make it up a large hill. When the last train comes to the rescue to help the train make it over the mountain, the children sing a motivational song. The children performed for the school, getting ready for an evening performance in front of parents and friends.
