Fight in Hermon Sends one to Hospital 

One person was arrested and another was sent to the hospital after an assault in Hermon Tuesday afternoon.Officials say they received the call just after two o’clock, they responded to the Banners and Signs Unlimited store on Route 2.When officials arrived they say Colby Lawson: whom we’re told is from the Bangor area, was there with Aaron Lawson of Madawaska and a third man also from Madawaska.Officials say a fight broke out between those three men and another person.Deputy Derek Hersey with the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Department says the men had a knife. “When we arrived the knife was missing,” Deputy Hersey told TV5 on Tuesday. “We called in a State Police canine unit. They did an article search and were able to locate the knife in a wooded area.”No word on what caused the fight. Officials say the men had conflicting stories of the incident.Colby Lawson was arrested and charged with assault, criminal threatening, and criminal mischief.The other two men were charged with assault.The victim was reportedly taken to the hospital.
