Stonington Man Sentenced for Halloween Attack, High Speed Chase

A man from Stonington will serve 9 months in jail for attacking a man on Halloween, months after he lead police on a high speed chase.19-year-old Davis Bradshaw pleaded guilty this week to aggravated assault, criminal threatening and eluding a police officer, among other charges. Last Halloween, Bradshaw got into an argument about a car with the boyfriend of his ex-girlfriend. He hit the man in the head twice with a pipe. Bradshaw was out on bail at the time. Four months earlier, he lead police on a high-speed chase that started in Blue Hill and ended in Deer Isle. Besides jail time, Bradshaw also has to pay the victim of the attack more than $9,000.
