Husson University has had a pretty good baseball program over the years, but St. Joe’s has recently been just a bit better. The Monks have have had the upper hand and they came to Bangor this afternoon to try to keep the streak going.In the first game of the doubleheader, Husson batters managed only five hits. Mason Roberge strikes out Kyle Vanidestine. He was one of three pitchers that held the Eagles at bay.Will Sanborn in his 18th year at St. Joe’s and likely not so happy with this play.Ben Grant-Roy pops it up. It’s heading foul, the wind blows it back fair and Husson throws him out at first. St. Joes wins the opener 8-2 and they take game two 11-1.
