Winslow Landslide 

The recent rain has caused major concerns for Winslow officials.A landslide along the Sebasticook river was discovered Wednesday.The ground gave way between the former Fort Halifax dam and the Dallaire St. slope, where six homes were demolished last week following concerns about the ground’s stability.The major problem, a cemetery is located at the top of that embankment.Fire chief David Lafountain tells TV5 he has some concerns there will be more sliding and the cemetery is at risk.Lafountain says engineers and emergency officials will continue to assess the situation.
