Augusta Board of Education Budget 

The Augusta Board of Education has approved a nearly 26-and-a-half million dollar budget.It still needs City Council approval.Superintendent Doctor Connie Brown says the budget means cuts to several programs, including multimedia classes and summer school.She says it also adds an electrical instruction program, expands the health occupation program and increases nursing staff at Cony High School.City Council votes on it Monday, April 12th. From there it goes to a city-wide vote in June.
