Two people are in the Kennebec County Jail in connection with a fight on the Gardiner waterfront that sent one man to the hospital. The Kennebec Journal reports 20-year-old Brian Cray of Gardiner and 23-year-old David Knox of China were arrested last night and charged with aggravated assault. Police are reportedly still looking for two other people – 18-year-old Kadhar Bailey of Gardiner and 18-year-old Elisha Savoy of Chelsea. Chief James Toman said this week that four to eight people were involved in a fight along the waterfront just before midnight Monday. But by the time police arrived, only two people were left, both hurt. One went to the hospital where he was treated and released. Toman said it appeared as if a stick or a bat had been used in the fight. The incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information can call Gardiner police at 582-5150.
