Police are investigating a fight near the waterfront in Gardiner that sent one person to the hospital. Police were called to the area last night, just before midnight.Chief James Toman says between four to eight people had been fighting, but by the time officers arrived, only two were left. Both of them had been hurt. Toman says one was taken to the hospital where he was treated and released. He says it appears a stick or even a bat may have been used in the brawl. No one’s been charged in the case.Toman says officers are not getting a lot of cooperation interviewing the victims.
