St. Patrick’s Day Fun Bread Recipes:


White Bread2 packages active dry yeast (2 tablespoons )2 cups warm water (water that is very warm to touch )3 tablespoons honey1 teaspoon salt1/4 cup olive oil2 cups bread flour4 cups all purpose flour


Dissolve yeast in warm water stir in honey, salt, oil, and 2 cups breadflour. Beat until smooth.Add enough all purpose flour to make dough easy to handle.Knead until smooth place in a lightly oiled bowl cover with plastic wrapand let set until double. (about 1/2 to 1 hour)Punch down dough (dough is ready if impression remains)Knead to remove air bubbles and make in to shapes.Oven 400* Loaf 9x5x3 bake 35 minutesClover rolls bake 15 minutesCinnamon rolls bake 20 minutesThis recipe will make the following.1 loaf6 clover rolls6 cinnamon rollsLoaf- grease loaf pan and press out rectangle roll up beginning at theshort side. With hand, press each end to seal. Fold ends under loaf. Placeseam side down in greased loaf pan. Set aside and let rise until top ofpan and bake.Cloverleaf Rolls- shape bits of dough into 1-inch balls. Place 3 balls into each greased muffin cups let rise until top of pan and bake.Cinnamon Rolls- knead 1 tablespoon of sugar into dough and press doughinto rectangle. Spread butter over dough and sprinkle with cinnamon andbrown sugar. Roll beginning at the wide side. Pinch edge of dough intoroll to seal well. Stretch roll to make even.Cut roll into six slices. Place slightly apart into well greased 8×8 pan.Let rise until double size and bake.
