Tim Throckmorton

Maine hockey will play against Boston University in the conference semifinals Friday night. The Black Bears took the day off yesterday, but there isn’t much time to rest. After an hour and a half team meeting, the Black Bears were on the ice late this afternoon. They’ll practice today and tomorrow here at home and then head to Boston tomorrow night. The dramatic win over Lowell on Sunday looks to have inspired the Black Bears.Tanner House – Maine Forward”With a one game series anything is possible now its whoever comes ready to play for 60 or 80 minutes or whatever it takes in overtime.”Will O’Neill – Maine Defenseman”As a young team we needed a win like that for this crowd and for everybody around Maine that type of win the energy everything was electrifying and I haven’t felt something like that in hockey before. A lift for us we’re just trying to catch lightning in a bottle and use that on Friday night.”
