Manna Meal Bus Back on the Road

After a six month hiatus, the Manna Bus is back on the road. The bus usually travels through Bangor to pick people up for evening meals at Manna’s soup kitchen. It had been out of commission while repairs were made, but now they’re ready to start picking folks up again. The bus starts its route at 3:15 p.m., Monday through Friday. There are three stops: Pickering Square, on Center Street across from Brookings-Smith Funeral Home, and in front of Leadbetter’s at Hammond and Ohio. The folks at Manna also say if you see the bus coming, just give them a wave and they’ll stop for you.The bus will also drop people off at the end of the evening meal, which is free for anyone who’d like to join.
