Additional Charges Dropped Against Medway Man Accused of Manslaughter 

Two charges have been dropped against a man from Medway scheduled to go on trial next month for a deadly car crash in Monroe. 44-year-old James Lee is charged with manslaughter.Prosecutors say he was driving a pick-up truck more than thirty miles over the speed limit when it crashed in September 2008.One of Lee’s three passengers was killed.Last fall, someone reported seeing Lee drive a grader in Medway, even though he wasn’t allowed behind the wheel.He was charged with violating conditions of bail and operating a vehicle with a suspended license. Court records show Penobscot County District Attorney Chris Almy has now dropped those charges, because of insufficient evidence.
