Trustees At UMO Looking Into More Options For Students 

A plan to be reviewed by the Board of Trustees at the University of Maine, could save the university system nearly $43 million.Chancellor Richard Pattenaude is scheduled to update the trustees on the new directions, new challenges, initiative and work plans.Under the plan was was given the green light in November, would allow students to choose from more courses and curriculums that would heavily involve computer technology and higher tuitions.Trustees will undergo a review a tentative collective bargaining agreements, and consider nominees for honorary degrees and vote on the creation of a new graduate program at Orono.
