Arrest Made in Deaths of a Couple in Webster Plantation 

A Burlington man has been arrested in connection with the deaths of a couple in Webster Plantation.Thirty-one-year-old Nathaneal Nightingale is charged with two counts of murder.The bodies of Michael Miller and his wife Valerie, both 47, were discovered in late November in their home on the Tucker Ridge Road.Nightingale was arrested shortly after midnight Saturday at his family’s residence on Fogg Lane in Burlington.State Police Spokesman Steve McCausland says detectives have followed several leads during the last two weeks.Including trying to locate and identify a woman who Nightingale claimed was at the Miller’s residence the day of the crimes.” Nightingale was a friend of the Millers and had been interviewed during the course of the investigation. It was his information that led to the drawing of the composite of the mystery woman who we now know does not exist.”Nightingale was taken to Penobscot County Jail where he is being held until a preliminary court hearing, which is expected to occur early next week.
