Members of the St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary got together Friday to have a little Holiday fun, and raise money for the hospital. They held their annual auction and luncheon at St. John’s Catholic Church.It was supposed to be held on Wednesday, but was postponed because of the weather.Auxiliary President, Bethany McKnight explains that members are asked to bring an item, to be auctioned off. “We have some beautiful gift baskets that are ranging in value from $150 to $300. We have crystal bowls, all kinds of holiday decorations. It’s just a great time to come and get some last minute Christmas shopping done for sure.”The auxiliary holds fundraisers all year long for the hospital. They say this one is also a great chance to get together and celebrate Christmas too.In all they raised about $1500 dollars Friday.
