A jury has cleared a man from Mount Desert accused of raping a woman while he choked her. 22-year-old Joshua Busby was charged with gross sexual assault. Jurors in Hancock County found him not guilty this morning, after a one-day trial. Assistant District Attorney Mary Kellett says the alleged victim, a 20-year-old woman, was drinking with Busby and other friends one night in January of 2008.The woman passed out, then says she remembered having sex with Busby, while he held her down by the throat. Busby’s lawyer argued the sex was consensual.
