Five New State Troopers Sworn In 

Five new troopers are joining the ranks of the State Police Department. They were sworn in today at the criminal justice academy in Vasselboro.Christopher Crawford, from North Anson, has been a Madison police officer for the last seven years. Scott Quintero is a native of Bridgeton and a graduate of the Pace University School of Law. Gregory Roy grew up in Lisbon Falls and has been a reserve officer for the Wells Police Department.Jonathan Russell from Norway is an Air Force veteran and has served three tours in Iraq.And Ryan Short of Eliot is a 2008 graduate of The Citadel. He’s also a second lieutenant in the Army National Guard and is now a third-generation state trooper.
