Former Prime Tanning Employees Get Assistance 

Laid off workers at a Hartland company have been awarded federal assistance.Congressman Mike Michaud praised the U.S. Department of Labor on Monday for awarding trade adjustment assistance to former workers of the Prime Tanning Company.The benefits are awarded to companies that have lost jobs as a direct result of foreign imports or a shift in production outside the U.S.They are geared towards skill training and job placement.Prime Tanning recently employed 200 workers in the Hartland area.
