Farnsworth Museum Shares the Wonder

The Farnsworth Museum in Rockland opened its doors for an annual event called “Share the Wonder Day” on Saturday. It was a free event for all those who made it there before 1 pm where families are invited to celebrate the holidays and experience the museum and its exhibits.Officials say the community event is a way for people to experience the museum without intimidation. “This gives us a chance to draw them in to show them what a wonderful experience and to allow them for those who find the price of admission daunting to have the museum be entirely free for the day,” Said Communications Officer David Troup.A garden-sized train set donated by Charlie Colly ran its course, and other activities including cookie decoration and a puppet show were on the list for families to try.
