Two people involved in a cocaine conspiracy were in court Tuesday.43 year old Jeffrey Edwards of Florida was sentenced in district court in Portland. He pled guilty last February to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine. Edwards will spend 48 months in jail, and 3 years under supervised release.44 year old Lisa DeLaurentiis also of florida pled guilty to conspiracy to posses with intent to distribute cocaine and oxycodone. DeLaurentiis faces a sentence of anywhere from 10 years to life in prison.Edwards and DeLaurentiis transported cocaine and oxycodone from Florida to Maine from January of 2002 to June of 2005. They also collected proceeds from drug sales in Maine and brought them back to florida. The drugs were sold in the Lee and Lincoln area.
