Ptaszynski in Court for Murder 

A Bangor transient pleaded not guilty Tuesday morning to two charges in connection with the August 9th murder of Holly Boutilier of Old Town.Twenty-seven-year-old Justin Ptaszynski is charged with murder and hindering apprehension or prosecution.According to court records, surveillance video from Hollywood Slots shows two men leaving the crime scene along the Penobscot River in Bangor.Ptaszynski reportedly told police he was one of the subjects in that.Thirty-four-year-old Colin Koehler was charged back in August with the murder of Boutilier.Police say Ptaszynski told them he had no prior knowledge that Koehler planned to kill Boutilier.A court affadavit states Ptaszynski says the three had gone on a walk along the river when Koehler pulled out a sword.Boutilier died from multiple stab wounds.Several of Boutilier’s family members were in the courtroom Tuesday.John Mitchell, a family friend, says the family wants people to know that Holly was a kind and loving person.” And Holly’s family is also very devastated that this death has occurred because they have knowledge that this was a conscious decision by these two individuals to end Holly’s life. And there are no words to describe the grief the family is going through right now.”Ptaszynski is being held without bail at the Penobscot County Jail.
