Bangor Hydro Says Finance Glitches Will be Fixed 

Some Bangor Hydro customers got double-dipped when it came to paying their power bill.Bangor Hydro is working with its third party payment vendor to correct the error, which affected about 4,000 customers this week.Duplicate deductions were made from the bank accounts of those who paid their power bill by check sent through the mail.The error affected transactions received Tuesday and the funds were withdrawn from accounts Wednesday.” They attempted to send a file and correct the problem. And that is still in the works determining when exactly customers accounts will be credited. The process has begun and if customers haven’t already seen the credit they should see it today or tomorrow, within the next few days.”Bangor Hydro assures customers this is not a case of identity theft or fraud, and no customer information has been compromised.
