Peace and Justice Center of Eastern Maine Holds Press Conference 

“Everybody in, Nobody out.”That chant could be heard outside the Bangor office of Senator Olympia Snowe today.Members of the Peace and Justice Center of Eastern Maine were doing the chanting.They cited findings from “the Move-On Report” saying it shows that if Senator Snowe opposes health care reform she’s siding with big insurance companies.The group is pleased Senator Snowe voted yes on a health care reform plan approved by the Senate Finance Committee Tuesday.Through they say that’s only a small step in the right direction.”She needs to reconsider her opposition to the public option and come around to supporting it because it’s the only way within the present context of legislation that healthcare costs are going to be lowered through true competition in the industry.”Ron Davis says they will continue to rally for support for a reform plan that provides health care for everyone.
