Rouleau in Court 

A man from Fayette accused of driving drunk and causing a deadly crash in Mount Vernon pleaded not guilty Thursday morning.Police said back in July, Joseph Rouleau’s SUV went off the side of Route 41 and hit two summer camp counselors walking back to Camp Laurel.Corrie Lazar, 21, of Washington state, died at the scene. The other counselor suffered minor injuries.A Kennebec County grand jury indicted Rouleau on manslaughter charges earlier this month.Police said Rouleau had a blood alcohol level of .23, which is nearly three times the legal limit, at the time of the crash.Rouleau is free on bail.
