Toll on 95 Northbound to Increase

Folks driving into Maine on Interstate 95 this summer should bring some extra change.Starting on Wednesday, the toll in Hampton, New Hampshire increases from a dollar fifty to two dollars. The E-ZPass discount will still be 30 percent for in-state drivers and 10 percent for in-state business accounts. The state will use the extra money to create two lanes in each direction where drivers can go through a full speed. Construction work for those lanes will begin later in the summer. The goal is reducing traffic backups and thus air quality.
