Soccer Tournament in Memory of Hampden Student

A soccer tournament this weekend will honor the memory of a senior at Hampden Academy who died earlier this spring.The Nathan D. Clark Memorial Soccer Tournament will raise money for a scholarship in Clark’s name. Some of the money will also go to the group, Students Against Destructive Decisions.The tournament takes place at the Hampden turf behind Weatherbee Elementary School.It starts Friday night at 6 o’clock with an alumni game at 7. Admission is $4 for adults, $2 for children and seniors. The games get going again at 8 o’clock Saturday morning. Admission that day is $5 for adults, $3 for children and seniors. A Battle of the Bands contest will take place after the tournament on Saturday night at 8 p.m.
