Troopers Urge Caution in Work Zones Along I-95 

If you plan to be on the Interstate this holiday weekend, State Troopers ask that you slow down and use caution.Extra patrols are out all weekend…looking for drivers who might be a danger on the roads.Troopers are advising drivers to leave extra time to get to their holiday destinations, since traffic is expected to be heavy…And there could be additional delays on 95 because of all the road work currently underway from one end of the state to the other.<"we ask you politely to get into the lane we need you in...we appreciate people's patience...because the work is making the roads safer. That's the goal of the DOT is to make the bridges more safe and improve the pavement that's been beaten down this try to get where the signs direct you...increasing traffic during the holiday season.">Sgt. Brooks is also asking drivers to observe the reduced speed limits in those work areas this weekend.
