54th Annual Ellsworth Area Chamber Dinner 

Lobster was on the menu at the 54th Annual Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce Dinner Thursday night. More than 400 business people from throughout the area showed up for the celebration at the Holiday Inn in Ellsworth.Chamber officials say even though the economy is down, there are signs of progress, and they’re optimistic about the summer tourist season. Chamber Board President, Kevin Tesseo says, “In a down economy, we kind of expected a little bit lower attendance just because we hear the news like everybody else does. The reality was the attendance was not down. Our chamber members are doing well, the vast majority are doing very well.
